With the steady stream of Caribbean and Caribbean-born athletes dominating the Bird’s Nest Track and Field medal podium at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, the Caribbean Diaspora has got to be full of others just like me, feeling all Caribbean but still wondering whether, when the Olympic Games come to London, these online video clips will be all we’ll have to show for all our athletic potential. Will we be back in full force in four years, or are our 9.69 seconds of glory over?
